  • Does Auravis need an existing doorbell wire?

    No. The Auravis Smart Doorbell is fully wireless and runs on 2× 18650 rechargeable lithium batteries. Mount it in 10 minutes — no electrician required.

  • Are batteries included?

    Batteries and a USB charging cable are sold separately. Lithium battery shipping is heavily restricted internationally, so we ship the doorbell on its own and let you pick high-quality 18650 cells (2600mAh recommended) from any local electronics store.

  • Is Auravis weather-resistant?

    Yes. Auravis is rated IP54 — protected against rain, splashes, and dust. It's built for everyday outdoor use at your front door, but should not be submerged in water.

  • Will it work on 5GHz Wi-Fi?

    Auravis connects via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only. Most home routers support both bands — make sure your phone is on the 2.4GHz band during the initial setup.

  • How long do the batteries last?

    With 2600mAh 18650 batteries, expect 2–4 months between charges depending on motion activity. The Tuya Smart app will alert you when battery levels are low.

  • Can I record video locally?

    Yes. Auravis supports microSD cards from 8GB up to 64GB for local video recording. Cloud storage is also available through the Tuya Smart app for remote backup.

  • What's the warranty and shipping?
